What looked like an unused passage became the foundation of our very first project, Den Vanel. It was never created as a grand business plan or a luxury concept. It began from simple curiosity, a personal desire to see whether a small space, designed with care, could make someone feel genuinely at home.

What happened next surprised us.

Guests didn't just remember the room—they remembered how it made them feel. They stayed longer than expected, spent quiet evenings reading, working, sharing conversations, or simply enjoying the comfort of having a little more space than a typical hotel room could offer. That small experiment became one of the most meaningful experiences in our journey, and it shaped the philosophy we continue to follow today.

Little While Elitz

That philosophy inspired the creation of Little While Elitz, one of Kolkata's emerging micro-hospitality concepts. Built for backpackers, solo travellers, couples, remote workers, and curious explorers, it focuses on delivering the essentials exceptionally well. Clean rooms, peaceful surroundings, honest pricing, and heartfelt service remain at the center of every stay. Rather than promising luxury, we promise comfort, consistency, and care.

As our journey evolved, so did our vision.

Dden Vennell

Dden Vennell became more than our first project—it became a design philosophy. Every future Den Vanel room is envisioned with something that traditional hotel rooms often overlook: an additional living corner. Not simply a place to sleep, but a place to breathe. A quiet nook where guests can read, work, enjoy a cup of coffee, or simply slow down after a long day. Although these spaces remain part of a hotel, they are carefully designed to offer the warmth and familiarity of a home.

We believe today's travellers are changing. Many no longer seek only luxury—they seek comfort with character, spaces with soul, and places that feel personal rather than standardised.
